Moriah is an aspiring dancer and artist from Chicago who is looking forward to advancing her dance career after high school. She has trained at the Ruth Page School of Dance since she was 7 years old. She performs with Ruth Page Civic Ballet Training Company, appearing in The Nutcracker, spring concerts, and other touring events. Moriah appeared in Porchlight Music Theater’s Billy Elliot in 2017, and she performed with Chicago Rhythm Project in 2021 at the Museum of Contemporary Art, the Dusable Museum of African-American History, and the Jazz Showcase. Moriah is an ambassador for Brown Girls Do Ballet, a nonprofit organization helping to create a platform for underrepresented brown ballerinas. Moriah is honored to be joining Dance in the Parks as an intern this year!
