Rigo is a former soloist dancer of Danza Contemporánea of Cuba and The National Ballet of Ecuador and Resident Choreographer and Composition Master in the Metropolitan School of Art, Ecuador. Since moving to Chicago, he’s been part of Ruth Page Center of the Arts, Professional Program at The Hubbard Street Dance Company, Visceral Dance Chicago, and Visceral Dance Center. Currently, he is a dancer, teacher, and choreographer at Hedwig Dances. He is the winner of the Chicago DanceMakers Forum Production Residency, a Guest Choreographer at Cerqua Rivera Dance Theatre, and Co-Mission Artist at Links Hall 2022-2023.
