Reid kostroun

APPRENTICE DANCER

Reid grew up in San Antonio, Texas, where he began studying all languages of dance with an emphasis on ballet, modern, and hip-hop. While growing up, Reid was heavily engaged in the competition dance realm until he graduated in 2023 Summa Cum Laude from Madison High School. He then moved to Chicago to pursue a professional dance career in concert dance and choreography. This pursuit led him to Visceral Dance where he understudied and trained with the company for a year. Soon after Reid earned the title of Emerging Artist with the flourishing company of South Chicago Dance Theatre. He teaches with Music House Inc. and is committed to helping young dancers grow their skill set. Reid is excited to join Dance in the Parks this 2025 season and can’t wait to get outside and perform for Chicago.
