Hailing from San Antonio, Texas, Reid began studying all languages of dance with an emphasis on ballet, modern, and hip-hop under competition-level scrutiny. Moving to Chicago to pursue a professional dance career soon after graduating Summa Cum Laude from his local high school, this pursuit led him to Visceral Dance where he understudied and trained with the company for a year. Auditioning around Chicago brought him to the flourishing company of South Chicago Dance Theatre where he earned the title of Emerging Artist and second year promotion to Associate Artist. He teaches with Music House Inc. and is committed to helping young dancers grow their skill set. Reid is excited to join Dance in the Parks for a second season and can’t wait to get outside and perform for Chicago
